Labertouche Caves
Labertouche Caves
Labertouche Caves are granite boulder caves which are rather unique in their existence and formation. There are only four caves of this kind and Victoria happens to have three of them.
Type of caving: Mostly horizontal walks, crawls and squeezes, with some scrambling over rocks. There is, however, a short ladder pitch at the entrance.

Britannia Creek Cave
Britannia Creek Cave is a granite boulder cave. Such caves are rather unique in their existence and formation. There are only four caves of this kind in Australia and Victoria happens to have three of them.
Type of caving: Mostly horizontal ‘walks’, crawls and squeezes, with some scrambling over rocks. There is, however, a couple of short climbs as challenges.

Buchan Caves Reserve
Buchan Caves Reserves and Surrounding Areas
Buchan Caves, which normally includes caves in the main Buchan Caves Reserve area and its surrounding regions, such as Potholes Reserve, Wyatts Reserve, Murrindal, etc. These are some of spectacular caves in the East Gippsland regions and mostly limestone.
Type of caving: Mix of horizontal and vertical caves, with lots of walks, crawls, abseils and squeezes, with some scrambling over rocks. Some of the vertical caves are quite spectacular and some rather challenging to those who are well endowed with their shoulders, belly and hips π
